The Iron House Building is an adaptive reuse of a one story, existing brick shell which was first home to a auto-mechanic shop and then the "Iron House Gym." Four stories of residential construction were added to the brick base and the original structure was repurposed as retail and parking to create a mixed use building, enhancing Broad Street in the VCU neighborhood.
